River Raft Regatta

Each year on July fourth river rafting enthusiasts of Gatlinburg compete in this regatta. The race goes from the River Terrace bridge all the way down the Little Pigeon river to Ripley's Aquarium. People line the banks of the river to cheer competitors on all the way. With hot weather a typical condition of Independence Day in Gatlinburg, this event is a great way to cool down on the water and enjoy the day.
